AYUDH Chicago plants herb saplings for “Seed Starting Project”
Our AYUDH Chicago chapter started off the spring season by doing a seed starting project together. To “start” seeds, it involves preparing small pots of soil for them to initially grow. When the time comes, after they are sprouted to a certain size, they will be removed from these pots and put onto a plot of land dedicated to a new herb garden at MA Center Chicago. Right now, a few acres have been planned for this garden, so there will be many more seed starting projects in the future!
The Chicago chapter planted Tulsi, Ashwagandha, and Dang Shen seeds, all of which are precious and have many medicinal uses across the world. If you want to get involved with this project and you are in the Chicago area, please email firstname.lastname@example.org!
